Chase Johnson releases his 2016 schedule
Chase Johnson from Penngrove California though he is just 20 years old is a decorated racer – he is a six-time Outlaw kart champion, the 2011 California Civil War Series Rookie of the Year, 2012 Petaluma Speedway 360 winged sprint car champion, and earned Rookie of the Year honors last year from the King of the West series.
Coming off his successful outing at the 30th annual Chili Bowl Nationals in the #17J Matt Wood Racing Spike/Esslinger, Johnson has released his 2016 schedule with the Thomas Family Racing team. Johnson plans to compete in 34 races in the black #68 410 cubic inch sprint car, mostly with a wing, but he also plans to race in six wingless races with the AMSOIL® USAC/CRA for California Sprint Week.

Chase Johnson will run the entire 20-race King of the West sprint car series with an eye towards improving on his 13th place finish in the 2015 points.
In August, Johnson a fourth-generation racer and the Thomas Family racing team will travel to Iowa to compete in the 56th annual FVP® Knoxville Nationals.
